Xu Tong

Xu Tong has studied for her BSc and MSc at the Northwest A&F University in Xianyang Shi, Shaanxi Sheng, China.

As part of her undergraduate studies, Tong worked at the IL1b-induced tight junction permeability of bovine mammary epithelial cells during blood-milk barrier damage, and on the response of stromal fibroblasts to inflammatory epithelial cells involved in the pathogenesis of bovine mastitis.

In the Fodde laboratory she will work at the epigenetic basis of EMT in colon cancer metastasis supported by a fellowship from the China Scholarship Council (CSC).
